Chișinău International Airport
Chișinău International Airport (; ) is Moldova's main international airport, located southeast of the centre of Chișinău, the capital city. It served as headquarters for Air Moldova, the country's national airline. On 18 January 2024, the IATA airport code KIV, derived from Kishinev (the Russian and former English name of the city), was changed to RMO (''Republica Moldova'', "Republic of Moldova" in Romanian). It is the only airport in Moldova with regular passenger flights. History Early years The first scheduled flights to Chișinău started on 24 June 1926, on the route Bucharest–Galați–Chișinău and Iași. The flights were operated by CFRNA, later TAROM, LARES. A commemorative plaque, describing the first flight to Chișinău, was placed in the airport. RMO (Norwegian Resistance)
RMO was a Norwegian clandestine organization for naval intelligence during World War II, led from Oslo. The organization operated from Spring 1942 until the end of the war in the spring of 1945. Establishment RMO was established by Kapteinløytnant Andreas Rygg, as an initiative from naval attaché Hans Henriksen at the Norwegian legation in Stockholm. Because of the German mass arrest of Norwegian military officers in 1943, Rygg fled to Sweden, and the organization was subsequently led by Martin Siem and Sigurd Sverdrup. Network RMO's primary goal was to establish contacts in the cities along the Norwegian coast. The contact persons were typically harbourmasters, maritime pilots and other sea workers or harbour workers. Siem and Sverdrup had earlier cooperated with Gunnar Sønsteby, and this cooperation continued after RMO was formed. The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) is a highly selective high school mathematics competition held annually in India. It is conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) under the aegis of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM). Methorphan is an opioid drug that occurs in two isomeric forms, each with differing pharmacology and effects: * Dextromethorphan An over-the-counter cough suppressant, as well as dissociative hallucinogen. * Levomethorphan A potent opioid analgesic that was never clinically developed; a prodrug of the powerful opioid agonist analgesic levorphanol (Levo-Dromoran). Racemethorphan is the racemic mixture of both of these stereoisomers. It is listed under the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs 1961 and is therefore listed in the United States as a Controlled Substance, specifically as a Narcotic in Schedule II with an ACSCN of 9732 and an annual aggregate manufacturing quota of 3 grams in 2014.
