RK Crvenka
RK Crvenka () is a Serbian handball club based in Crvenka. They compete in the Serbian Handball Super B League. History The first handball club in Crvenka was established in 1952. They competed under the name RK Partizan. In 1959, the club merged with local club RK Jedinstvo to form RK Crvenka. They made their Yugoslav Handball Championship, Yugoslav Championship debut in 1965. Two years later, the club won its first trophy, capturing the Yugoslav Cup. They achieved their greatest success by winning the national championship in 1969. The club would reach the EHF Champions League, European Cup semi-finals in the 1969–70 European Cup (handball), 1969–70 season. Between 2008 and 2013, the club competed for five seasons in the Serbian Handball Super League. They earned promotion back to the top flight in 2020. Petar Kapisoda
Petar Kapisoda (born 26 June 1976) is a Montenegrin former handball player. Club career After starting out at his hometown club Lovćen, Kapisoda moved to Crvenka. He later played for Partizan (1994–1996) and Crvena zvezda (1996–1998). Subsequently, Kapisoda returned to his parent club Lovćen, helping them win back-to-back championships in 2000 and 2001. International career With FR Yugoslavia, Kapisoda won two bronze medals at the World Championships (1999 and 2001). He also participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics and 2006 European Championship. After the split of Serbia and Montenegro, Kapisoda represented Montenegro at the 2008 European Championship and 2013 World Championship. Zlatko Portner
Zlatko Portner (; 16 January 1962 – 23 September 2020) was a Serbian handball coach and player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1988 Summer Olympics. Club career After playing for Crvenka, Portner joined Yugoslav champions Metaloplastika, becoming a member of the squad that won consecutive European Cup titles ( 1984–85 and 1985–86). He also won six consecutive national championships with the club. During the 1989–90 season, Portner joined Barcelona as a replacement for his compatriot Milan Kalina. He reunited with his former Metaloplastika teammate Veselin Vujović, helping the club win the European Cup in 1991. The next year, Portner went to France and spent two seasons with Vénissieux Rhône-Alpes (1992–1994). He later also played for Swiss teams BSV Bern, TV Zofingen, and BSC Grosshöchstetten. Radisav "Čile" Pavićević (; 12 October 1951 – 19 February 2019) was a Serbian handball player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1976 Summer Olympics. Slobodan Mišković
Slobodan "Čile" Mišković (; 12 December 1944 – 4 July 1997) was a Serbian handball coach and player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1972 Summer Olympics. Club career Mišković started out at Crvenka, making his senior debut in 1962. He was a member of the team that qualified for the Yugoslav Championship for the first time ever in 1965. Later on, Mišković helped them win their first trophy, the Yugoslav Cup, in 1967 and their first Yugoslav Championship title in 1969. Đorđe "Đoko" Lavrnić (; 6 June 1946 – 27 November 2010) was a Yugoslav handball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics. Club career After starting out at Slatina, Lavrnić played for Krivaja Zavidovići and Crvenka, before moving abroad to Germany. Jovica Elezović
Jovica Elezović (; born 2 March 1956) is a Serbian former handball coach and player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1980 Summer Olympics and in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Club career Elezović started playing handball for his hometown club Vrbas at the age of 19. He also spent one season with Crvenka, before joining Borac Banja Luka in 1977. Over the years, Elezović established himself as one of the best players in Yugoslavia, helping his team win the championship in the 1980–81 season. He also played with Proleter Zrenjanin for one season, before going abroad. In 1985, Elezović moved to Germany and signed with Reinickendorfer Füchse.
