RGIPT
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), in Jais, Amethi district, Amethi (formerly in Raebareli district, Raebareli), Uttar Pradesh, India, is a training and education institute focusing on Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, STEM and petroleum industry. It is an institute of national importance equivalent to IITs. It was formally opened in July 2008. It has been accorded the Institute of National Importance status and a governance structure similar to that available to IITs It admits undergraduate students from the rank list of students who have qualified for Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE Advanced) Examination. Amethi District
Amethi is one of the 75 districts of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district is a part of Ayodhya division in the Awadh region of Uttar Pradesh. It covers an area of 2,329.11 km2. Gauriganj is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is better known due to being the seat of power of the Indian Nehru-Gandhi political dynasty since 1980. Prakash Keshav Javadekar (born 30 January 1951) is an Indian politician and former parliamentarian. He served as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change two times, from May 2014 to July 2016 and from May 2019 to July 2021.
