The RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg (formerly the Winnipeg Convention Centre) is a major meeting and convention centre located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It has five levels including indoor parking for 729 vehicles, and three levels of various meeting trade show space totalling . The main exhibit hall has of pillar-less space. Winnipeg Cyclone were a professional basketball club based in Winnipeg, Manitoba that competed in the International Basketball Association from 1995 to 2001. Central Canada Comic Con (C4) was an annual fan convention held in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Central Canada Comic Con was Central Canada's largest convention celebrating the best in comic books, science fiction, gaming, anime, fantasy, horror and pop culture. Ai-Kon is an annual three-day anime convention held on a weekend during the month of July in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Ai-Kon was first held at the University of Manitoba in 2001 and is currently held at the RBC Convention Centre. The convention's name is a blend of the words ''ai'' (Japanese for ''love'') and ''convention'' and is derived from its slogan "For the love of anime".
