R6 Scott Rd
The R6 Scott Rd is an express bus service with bus rapid transit elements in Metro Vancouver Regional District, Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Part of TransLink (British Columbia), TransLink's RapidBus (TransLink), RapidBus network, it travels along Scott Road and 72 Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia, Surrey and connects Scott Road station, North Delta, and Newton, Surrey, Newton. The route began service on January 2, 2024. History On June 28, 2018, the Mayors' Council and TransLink's board of directors approved the second phase of the 10-Year Vision. This phase included provisions for two new B-Line routes, one of which would connect Newton Exchange to the SkyTrain (Vancouver), SkyTrain's Expo Line (SkyTrain), Expo Line via Scott Road. During a presentation to Delta, British Columbia, Delta city council on November 9, 2020, TransLink stated that the route would be named the R6 Scott Rd RapidBus, and run from Newton Exchange to Scott Road station.
