R. Muttusamy
Ramaya Muttusamy (5 January 1926 – 27 June 1988) was a prolific Sri Lankan music director and singer. He handled the music for most of K. Gunaratnam's productions. Muttusamy was born on 5 January 1926, in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India, the only son of virtuoso musician Ramaya Baghwather. At a young age, Muttusamy was introduced to the violin and mastered the instrument by the age of ten. Music career Muttusamy worked as the Assistant Music Director on the first Sinhalese film ''Kadawunu Poronduwa'' in 1941 under the tutelage of R. Narayana Iyer. He subsequently travelled to Sri Lanka and found work there as a member of the state-run Radio Ceylon's Tamil Orchestra (20 October 1952) and then with the Sundera Murugan Studio in Kandana built by producer Nayagam (1953). Kala Suri Visharadha Dr. Mudunkotuwa Munasinghe Arachchige Sujatha Perera (born 12 May 1942: as සුජාතා අත්තනායක), colloquially known as Sujatha Aththanayaka , is a Sri Lankan songstress and playback singer. She is a prominent playback singer in Sinhala cinema and also in Sri Lankan and Indian Tamil cinema. Considered as the golden bell of Sinhala music, she holds the record for the most number of cassettes produced by a Sri Lankan songstress with more than 115 cassettes in a career spanning more than seven decades. She is the first female music director in Sri Lanka. She contributed for nearly 400 Sinhala films and 20 Sri Lankan-Indian Tamil Films as a playback singer. John Kotelawala
General (Sri Lanka), General Sir John Lionel Kotelawala ( si, ශ්රිමත් ජෝන් ලයනල් කොතලාවල; 4 April 1897 – 2 October 1980) was a Sri Lankan statesman, who served as the 3rd Prime Minister of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) from 1953 to 1956. Born to a wealthy landholding and mining family, Kotelawala had a difficult childhood with the suicide of his father and financial difficulties that followed. He was educated at Royal College, Colombo and Christ's College, Cambridge before returning to become a Plantation, planter and run the family estates and mines. Narada Disasekara
Narada Disasekara (7 June 1933 – 19 May 2010) was a Sri Lankan classical singer. He was the first singer to win the Sarasaviya Award when he was awarded for Best Male Playback Singing in 1964 for his duet ''Galana Gangaki Jeevithe'' with a young Nanda Malini for ''Ranmuthu Duwa''. Personal life He completed education from Kalutara Vidyalaya. Narada's sister's son is Nalendra Amarasinghe and his wife is Girlie. Narada was good at sports like cricket during school times. He also studied music and played violin under the school teacher Seemon Lokuliyana. Disasekara was first married to radio host and actress Tileka Ranasinghe in 1979. The couple has one son, Saranga. Saranga Disasekara became a popular actor since his debut in ''Nil Diya Yahana'' in 2009. He then acted in many films and television serials and won most popular actor award in multiple times.
