Prof. R. K. Kohli is an Indian educational administrator. He is Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Punjab, Mohali since August 22, 2020. Prior to joining Amity University, Mohali. He worked as the 2nd Vice-chancellor of Central University Punjab (2014–20). He has also worked as the founder Vice Chancellor of DAV University, Jalandhar (2013–14). He has 47 years of experience in teaching and research since July 1975. Central University Of Punjab
Central University of Punjab is a central research university located in Ghudda village of Bathinda, Punjab, India. Founding The Central University of Punjab was established through the Central Universities Act 2009 which received the assent of the President of India on 20 March 2009. Its territorial jurisdiction extends to the whole State of Punjab. It started its functioning from Camp Office in April 2009, and since November 2009 it shifted to its City Campus spread over an area of 35 acres. Degrees The university offers mainly research oriented master's and doctoral degree programmes: Ph.D., M.Sc., M.A., M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Pharm., M.Tech., LL.M., M.Ed. and MBA. Raghavendra P
Raghavendra Tirtha (), also referred as Raghavendra Swami, (1595 – 1671) was a Vaishnava scholar, theologian, and saint. He was also known as Sudha Parimalacharya (). His diverse oeuvre include commentaries on the works of Madhva, Jayatirtha, and Vyasatirtha, interpretation of the Principal Upanishads from the standpoint of Dvaita and a treatise on Purva Mimamsa. He served as the pontiff of the matha at Kumbakonam from 1621 to 1671. Raghavendra Tirtha was also an accomplished player of the veena and he composed several songs under the name of ''Venu Gopala''. His memorial at Mantralayam attracts lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of visitors every year. Biography Raghavendra Tirtha was born as Venkatanatha in the town of Bhuvanagiri, present day in Tamil Nadu into a Kannada Madhva Brahmin family of Gautama Gotra of musicians and scholars.
