Job Roggeveen
Job Roggeveen (born 1979 in Geldrop) is a film director and writer. He studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He graduated in 2003. In 2007 he co-founded animation studio Job, Joris & Marieke together with Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw. Job, Joris & Marieke works on commissioned work, music videos and short animated films. Job is also an instrumentalist and a composer. He composes the soundtracks for all the films by Job, Joris & Marieke. In 2011 he started the music projecHappy Camper Happy Camper released two studio albums, an EP and a single. In 2011 Happy Camper won an Edison Award. He is also part of the Dutch band El Pino and the Volunteers. In 2013 Job, Joris & Marieke released their animated short film MUTE. MUTE won, among others, the Grand Prix and the audience award at the Holland Animatie Film Festival in 2013. Joris Oprins
Joris Oprins (born 1980, Tilburg) is an animation director. He studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He graduated in 2003. In 2005 he worked as an animator on the stop motion children series Miffy at studio Pedri in Ankeveen. In 2007 he co-founded animation studio Job, Joris & Marieke together with Job Roggeveen and Marieke Blaauw. Job, Joris & Marieke works on commissioned work, music videos and short animated films. In 2013 they released their animated short film MUTE. MUTE won, among others, the Grand Prix and the audience award at the Holland Animation Film Festival in 2013. Marieke Blaauw (born 1979, in Hilversum) is a Dutch animator. Life Blaauw was born in 1979 in Hilversum. She studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. She graduated in 2002. Job, Joris & Marieke is a Dutch animation studio founded by Job Roggeveen (1979), Joris Oprins (1980) and Marieke Blaauw (1979). History They met during their studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Joris and Job graduated in 2003 and Marieke in 2002. From 2004 to 2005 Joris and Marieke worked as animators on the stop motion series Miffy at the animation studio Pedri in Ankeveen. In 2007 they founded their studio in Utrecht. They work on commissioned work, music videos and animated short films. The music for all their films is being composed by Job who is also a musician. In 2010, Job started the music projecHappy Camperfor which he won an Edison Award. Job, Joris & Marieke worked on the artwork and the music videos for both of the studio albums Happy Camper released. 2024 Animated Short Films
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern.
