Quinta (musician)
Quinta is the stage name of Katherine Mann, a London-based multi-instrumentalist, solo artist, composer, and session player. She plays the violin, viola, musical saw, and keyboards. Mann's father nicknamed her "Quinta" when she was a baby; he was a teacher of Latin and Greek, and she was the fifth of five children. Mann is a member of experimental arts quarteCollectresswho released their first album ''Mondegreen'' in 2014. She has released two solo albums, ''My Sister Boudicca'' (2009) and ''The Quick of the Heart'' (2017). ''Two Suns'' is the second studio album by English singer Natasha Khan, known professionally as Bat for Lashes. It was released on 3 April 2009 by The Echo Label and Parlophone. The album was produced by Khan herself and David Kosten (who also worked on her debut album '' Fur and Gold''), and features collaborations with members of Yeasayer and Scott Walker. Lamb (electronic Band)
Lamb were an English electronic music duo from Manchester, whose music is influenced by trip hop, drum and bass and jazz. The duo consists of producer Andy Barlow and singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes. They achieved commercial success with the hit singles '' Górecki'' and ''Gabriel''. Biography On the basis of three songs, Barlow and Rhodes signed a six-album deal with Mercury Records in 1995. They released their first album, the self-titled '' Lamb'' in September 1996, and followed this up with another three albums and a cache of singles over the next eight years, culminating in the release of a greatest hits album, '' Best Kept Secrets'', in June 2004.
