Quentin Bryan Angus is a jazz guitarist from Australia. Career Angus holds a PhD, a Master of Music degree, and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide. He has produced two independently released albums, ''Retrieval Structure'' (2011) and ''Perception'' (2013). Mount Pleasant, South Australia
Mount Pleasant is a town situated in the Barossa Council, just north of the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, 55 kilometres east-north-east of the state capital, Adelaide (). It is located in the Barossa Council and Mid Murray Council local government areas, and is at an altitude of 440 metres above sea level. Rainfall in the area averages 687 mm per annum. History Origin of the name Today's Mount Pleasant comprises three townships, Totness, Talunga and Hendryton. Mount Pleasant township was developed by Henry Glover, and surveyed in 1856. It comprised the land from Railway Terrace to Saleyard Road. The name was taken from that used by James Phillis, who had come from an area near Eastry in Kent. The land had reminded him of his homeland. His sister was named Pleasant, who may also have inspired the name. Ari Hoenig (born November 13, 1973) is an American jazz drummer, composer, and educator. Educational materials Hoenig has taught and is on the faculty at New York University and The New School in New York. He gives clinics and lectures at music schools and universities worldwide. With bassist Johannes Weidenmueller, he released ''Intro to Polyrhythms Vol 1'', and ''Metric Modulations, Expanding and Contracting Time within Form Vol 2.'' (Mel Bay 2009, 2012) In 2011, he ''Systems Book 1, Drumming Technique and Melodic Jazz Independence'' (Alfred Publishing) and the DVD ''Melodic Drumming'' (2011). Chad Lefkowitz-Brown
Chad LB (born September 8, 1989) is a New York-based saxophonist and recording artist recognized for his work as a soloist in the genres of jazz and pop music. He was a member of the multi Grammy winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO) and has toured with popular music icon Taylor Swift. Known for his virtuosic skill and speed and intricate lines as a jazz improviser, he is also an educator and is on faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory as a visiting artist for The Roots, Jazz and American Music program. Shai Maestro
Shai Maestro (born February 5, 1987) is an Israeli jazz pianist. Biography Shai Maestro began playing classical piano aged five and graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School of Performing Arts in Givataim, Israel. After winning the National Jazz Ensembles Competition Jazz Signs in 2002 and 2003 and receiving scholarships (2004 to 2010) from the America-Israel Cultural Fund for jazz piano, he attended Berklee College of Music's Five-Week Summer Performance Program in Boston, where he was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee, an offer he declined. A few weeks later, bassist Avishai Cohen invited him to join his trio with drummer Mark Guiliana.
