Qormi Football Club is a Maltese football club from the city of Qormi, that currently plays in the Maltese National Amateur League. They have won 4 league titles, with their titles being won in: 1969-70 1982-83 1994-95 2023-24 History Qormi Football Club was founded in 1961 after the amalgamation of Qormi Youngsters (from the parish of St. Sebastian) and Qormi United (from the parish of St. George), which is from where the club acquired its motto ''Fl-Għaqda s-Saħħa'', (). The first club from Qormi dates back to the 1920s. The club thus celebrated the 50th anniversary in 2011. Qormi Football Club is affiliated with the Malta Football Association (MFA) which is the main football body in Malta. The Qormi FC Youth Nursery is a sub-committee of Qormi FC and almost 200 youngsters are affiliated with the nursery. Qormi
Qormi (, , ), also known by its title Città Pinto, is a city in the Southern Region, Malta, Southern Region of Malta, southwest of Valletta in the centre of the island. It has a population of 16,324 (as of March 2018), making it Malta's fifth-largest city. Qormi has two parishes, one dedicated to Saint George and one to Saint Sebastian. It contains two valleys: Wied ''il-Kbir'' (The Large Valley) and ''Wied is-Sewda'' (Black Valley). Its bordering towns are Marsa, Malta, Marsa, Luqa, Żebbuġ, Siġġiewi, Ħamrun, Birkirkara, Attard, Santa Venera and Balzan. 2014–15 Maltese Premier League
The 2014–15 Maltese Premier League is the 100th season of the Maltese Premier League, Valletta are the defending champions, having won their 22nd title the previous season. The Premier League consists of three rounds for a total of 33 games. After the end of the second round, the points earned are halved. Format In a change from last season, the league will not split after twenty-two matches. All teams will advance to a second phase where half of the first phase points are carried over and teams will play each other once. The competition began on 5 September 2012 and is ended on 19 May 2013 with the final in Ta' Qali Stadium. The defending champions are Hibernians, having won their 9th Maltese Cup last season. The FA Trophy, currently known as the Meridianbet FA Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is an annual football (soccer), football cup competition that takes place in Malta. The cup was founded in 1933; following a match between England national football team, England and Italy national football team, Italy, played in Rome in May 1933, to where a number of pro-British Maltese supporters travelled to support the English side. The Football Association as recognition donated a silver trophy to be played on the model of the FA Cup. The team who wins the cup wins a place in the First qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Michael Mifsud (born 17 April 1981) is a Maltese former professional association football, footballer. He scored 42 goals in 143 games for the Malta national football team, Malta national team between 2000 and 2020, and also captain (association football), captained the side. Abubakar Bello-Osagie (born 11 August 1988), commonly known as Abubakar or Abu, is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker, most recently for Marsaskala in Malta. George Mallia (born 10 October 1978 in Sliema, Malta) is a retired professional footballer who last played for Maltese Premier League side Qormi FC as a midfielder. Playing career George made his debut with Sliema Wanderers in the Maltese Premier League in the season 1995–1996. In the season 1998-1999 he joined Floriana. In 2002-2003 he joined Birkirkara and became one of the best players on the team.
