Qashqai Shiraz F.C.
Qashqai Football Club (Persian: باشگاه فرهنگی ورزشی قشقایی, ''Bashgah-e Ferhengi-ye Vârzeshi-ye Qâshqâiye'') or Qashqai Cultural Sport Club was a football club based in Shiraz, Iran. Qashqai participated in Azadegan League until 2022. In 2022, the participation of this team in Azadegan League was given to Chadormalu Ardakan. History Qashqai Football Club was established in Shiraz in 2012 with the support of Qashqai Turk people living in Fars and other neighbor provinces of Iran. Qashqai F.C. was reputed since they as a second-tier club surprisingly knocked Persepolis football team out of Iran's 2016–17 Hazfi Cup's 1/32 round on September 30, 2016. Hafezieh Stadium
The Hafeziyeh Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Shiraz, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Persian Gulf League side, Fajr Sepasi F.C. The stadium also is used for some matches of Bargh Shiraz F.C. in Azadegan League. The stadium holds 20,000 people and is all-seater. The stadium was the host venue of 2012 Hazfi Cup Final. Background In 1940, Iran's then Prime Minister of Iran, Prime Minister Mohammad-Ali Foroughi visited Shiraz and proposed a project for Shiraz to make a bid for holding the 1976 AFC Asian Cup with Shiraz as second host city. Persepolis (; ; ) was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (). It is situated in the plains of Marvdasht, encircled by the southern Zagros mountains, Fars province of Iran. It is one of the key Iranian cultural heritage sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. The city, acting as a major center for the empire, housed a palace complex and citadel designed to serve as the focal point for governance and ceremonial activities. The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. It is controlled by the FFIRI and is contested by 16 teams over a 30-matchday period. Gholam Reza Enayati (; born 23 September 1976) is an Iranian football manager and former player. Enayati played as a striker in the Persian Gulf Pro League and for the Iran national football team. He is the all-time top goalscorer in the Persian Gulf Pro League. Club career Reza Enayati started out his professional career playing for his hometown club Aboomoslem. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final (competition), final. Hazfi Cup (, ) formerly known as Pahlavi Cup () is an Iranian knockout football competition held annually by the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran. The Iranian Football League, Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revival of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup for Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
