Qais Bin Abdul Munaim Al Zawawi
Qais bin ʿAbdul-Munʿim Az-Zawāwī (; 27 August 1935 – 11 September 1995) was the second foreign minister for the Sultanate of Oman, and later served as Deputy Prime Minister of Oman, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Financial affairs from 1982 until his death on 11 September 1995, in the Salalah accident, whilst in the car with Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, Qaboos bin Said, and his brother Dr Omar bin Abdul-Mun'im Al-Zawawi, the external liaison for the Sultan of Oman, Sultan. Before returning to Oman, after the Sultan deposed his father in a bloodless coup, the deputy prime minister, Qais Al Zawawi studied in India and then moved to Dubai, where he set up the Pepsi-Cola Operations with Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the then Ruler of Emirate of Dubai, Dubai (1958–1990), and Sultan bin Ali Al Owais and Mohamed Yehia Zakaria, both prominent businessmen. Mohamed Yehia Zakaria
Mohamed Yehia Zakaria (born May 10, 1938) is an Emirati businessman of Egyptian origin. He is the longest-serving chief executive of the beverage industry in the Middle East. He is the co-founder and was chief executive of Dubai Refreshments (Pepsi), in Dubai, and institutionalized the soft drink industry in the Middle East. Education and career A graduate of Cairo University with a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Mohamed Zakaria arrived in Dubai in 1960 to gain work experience and then afterward, attend Michigan State University where he had been accepted for an MBA. His previous work in Egypt at the Government Accountancy Department, promoted him to explore an offer he had gotten by the late Sultan bin Ali Al Owais, a philanthropist, poet, businessman, and former Minister of the UAE. Zawawi Mosque
The Zawawi Mosque () is a Sunni mosque, located in Muscat, Oman. It was built by Omar Zawawi, a member of the Al Zawawi family, to commemorate the death of his father Abdul-Mun'im Al-Zawawi, and opened in 1985. It is notable for having the entirety of the Qur'an engraved on metal plates on its walls. There was also an older mosque by that name, built in 1906 and demolished in 2005. Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum
Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (; 11 June 1912 – 7 October 1990) was an Emirati royal, politician and a founder of the United Arab Emirates. Al Maktoum was the first vice president and second prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and was the ruler of Dubai. He ruled Dubai for 32 years from 1958 until his death in 1990. He was the vice president from the founding of the UAE until his death. Al Maktoum was the first vice president to serve as prime minister concurrently, when he became prime minister on 30 April 1979.
