Q (radio Station)
Q Radio was a British digital radio station broadcasting online, on DAB and DTV across the UK. The station launched in 2008 as an alternative to the UK's rock and alternative stations, with a strong relationship with ''Q'' magazine. The station formed part of the Bauer Passion Portfolio. Coinciding with the launch of Kiss spin-off stations Kisstory and Kiss Fresh, Q Radio closed in 2013. White Lies (band)
White Lies are an English indie rock band from Ealing, London. Formerly known as Fear of Flying, the core band members are Harry McVeigh (lead vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums). The band performs live as a four-piece, when they are joined by Tommy Bowen. White Lies formed in October 2007, after writing songs that they felt didn't suit their original band. The Young Knives
Young Knives are an English indie rock band from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, currently based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. The group consists of brothers Henry Dartnall and Thomas Bonsu-Dartnall (the latter known professionally as "The House of Lords"). Oliver Askew was the band's drummer from 1998 until 2015. The band were originally named Simple Pastoral Existence (which featured guitarist Alex Gasson), but this name only lasted until they split for a few years from 1997 to 1999, at which time they renamed themselves Ponyclub. The Futureheads
The Futureheads are an English post-punk band from Sunderland, formed in 2000. The band consists of Ross Millard (vocals and guitar), David "Jaff" Craig (vocals and bass guitar) and brothers Barry Hyde (vocals and guitar) and Dave Hyde (drums). Their name comes from the title of the Flaming Lips album '' Hit to Death in the Future Head''. Pete Shelley
Pete Shelley (born Peter Campbell McNeish; 17 April 1955 – 6 December 2018) was an English singer, songwriter and guitarist. He formed early Punk rock, punk band Buzzcocks with Howard Devoto in 1976, and became the lead singer and guitarist in 1977 when Devoto left. The group released their biggest hit "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" in 1978. The band broke up in 1981 and reformed at the end of the decade.
