Pécs Organ Manufactory
Pécs Organ Manufactory Ltd. (POM) was found in September, 1992. At the moment POM is the biggest organ building company in Hungary. The manufactory employs around 50 specialist who cover all fields of organbuilding. The webshop of the company was launched in 2009 which through they sell hundreds of organ parts. Company history Pécs Organ Manufactory Ltd. was founded by Attila Budavari, Attila Budavári and his younger brother Csaba Budavári. Their interest and passion on organbuilding is a family heritage as some of their ancestors (e.g.: their great-grandfather) had worked at in Pécs, Hungary. Attila Budavári was only 12 years old when he decided to become an organbuilder as an adult. Therefore, after their organbuilding studies and study tours the two brothers found their own organbuilding company in Pécs, Hungary. Attila ( or ; ), frequently called Attila the Hun, was the ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in early 453. The Reformed Church of Fasor or Fasor Reformed Church (''Fasori református templom'') is an Art Nouveau Protestantism, Protestant church in Erzsébetváros, District VII of Budapest, designed by Aladár Árkay in 1910–1912. It is part of the Reformed Church in Hungary. Most of the funds came from Adolf Laky earning him a bust in the church garden. The church has a facade covered in Zsolnay majolica tiles bearing designs that echo Hungarian folk art. Folk art motifs are repeated throughout the church. The stained glass windows were designed by Miksa Róth. The floor plan is in the shape of a Greek Cross, with galleries on three sides and an organ over the altar.
