Pyaasa Sawan
Pyaasa Sawan () is a 1981 Hindi-language drama film, produced by Prasan Kapoor under the Tirupati Pictures Enterprises banner and written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Jeetendra, Reena Roy, Moushmi Chatterji and music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal, Lyrics by Santosh Anand. The film is a remake of Telugu movie '' Yedanthasthula Meda'' (1980). Plot Chandrakant, a young and energetic man, is in search of a job. Prabhudas, a millionaire, mistakes him for his wealthy friend's son, so, he offers him a job and also keeps him in his house under the intention to make his daughter Shanti's marriage with him. By the time he learns the truth, Chandrakant and Shanti love each other and they marry against their elders' wish. After the marriage, the couple experiences much difficulty. Dasari Narayana Rao
Dasari Narayana Rao (4 May 1942 – 30 May 2017) was an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, lyricist, and politician, primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema. Over his four decade career, he directed more than 150 feature films, earning a Limca World Record for directing the most films in the world. He was known by the epithet "Darsaka Ratna" () and was recognized for addressing social issues such as gender discrimination, casteism, corruption and injustice through his films. Ashalata Wabgaonkar
Ashalata Wabgaonkar (2 July 1941 – 22 September 2020), better known as Ashalata, was an Indian actress. Originally tracing her roots to Palolem, Goa, she was associated with the Mumbai-based Goa Hindu Association. She acted in over a hundred Hindi and Marathi movies. She also sang some Konkani songs broadcast over the Mumbai station of the All India Radio. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet.
