Puzha Magazine
''Puzha.com'' is the first Malayalam online magazine, founded in 2000, by Thomas Theakanath, Jeo Kurian, Harish Pillai, Shaji Thomas and KS James, that features original short-fiction,, poetry, reviews, interviews and columns and it has since become the leading outlet for emerging writers in Malayalam language. Puzha.com is also credited with making little magazines across Kerala available to a wider audience and archiving of local (traditional and to some extent tribal) knowledge base and folklore of Kerala. In 2007, Puzha.com received the prestigious Manthan Award for its dedication to the advancement of Malayalam literature, development of language tools and archiving and preservation of local knowledge base and folklore of Kerala. Aluva
Aluva (; also known by its former name Alwaye) is a town in the Ernakulam District in Kerala, India. It is a part of the Kochi metropolitan area and is situated around from the city center on the banks of Periyar River. Malayalam Language
Malayalam (; , ) is a Dravidian language spoken in the Indian state of Kerala and the union territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry ( Mahé district) by the Malayali people. It is one of 22 scheduled languages of India. Malayalam was designated a " Classical Language of India" in 2013. The Manthan Award is an annual award for South Asia given in recognition of exceptional digital content creation. Nominations are accepted from the public and multiple awards are given in many categories. Sethu (writer)
A. Sethumadhavan (born 5 June 1942), popularly known as Sethu, is a Malayalam fiction writer. He has published more than 35 books. He won the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award in 2007 for the work ''Adayalangal''. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awards in 1982 and 1978 for his works ''Pandavapuram'' and ''Pediswapnangal''; and Vayalar Award for ''Adyalangal'' in 2005. He also won Odakkuzhal award for his novel ''Marupiravi.'' Sethu's other literary works include ''Velutha Koodarangal, Thaliyola, Kiratham, Niyogam, Sethuvinte Kathakal'' and ''Kaimudrakal''. Chemmanam Chacko
Chemmanam Chacko (Malayalam:ചെമ്മനം ചാക്കോ) (March 7, 1926 – August 14, 2018) was an Indian satirical poet from Kerala, India. He died on 15 August 2018 at the age of 92 at his residence in Padamugal. Early life Chacko was born on 7 March 1926, in the village of Mulakulam in erstwhile Travancore. His father was an Orthodox Christian priest. He did his early schooling in Saint Joseph's school, Piravom, and went on to receive his BA honours in Malayalam literature with first rank from University College, Trivandrum. He worked as a professor at Mar Ivanios College and the Department of Malayalam, University of Kerala. P. Sachidanandan (born 1936), who uses the pseudonym Anand, is an Indian writer, writing primarily in Malayalam. He is one of the known living intellectuals in India. His works are noted for their philosophical flavor, historical context and their humanism. He is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award and three Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awards (story, novel, and scholarly literature). Akbar Kakkattil (7 July 1954 – 17 February 2016) was an Indian short-story writer and novelist from Kerala state.
