Putul Nacher Itikatha
Putul Nacher Itikatha ( eng ''The puppet's tale'') is the third novel and the fourth printed book written by Bengali writer Manik Bandyopadhyay published in book form in 1936. It is one of the outstanding works of Manik Bandopadhyay. In one of his letters he wrote that this novel was a humble protest against those who tend to play with the lives of humans as if they were puppets.It introduces writer 's socialist mentality. History The novel was published continuously in Bharatvarsha Patrika from Poush 1341 BS to Agrahayan 1342 BS. It was later published in book form in 1936. The novel introduces Manik Bandyopadhyay 's socialist mentality. Summary The central character of the novel is village doctor Shashi. He has no faith in God. Manik Bandopadhyay
Manik Bandyopadhyay lias Banerjee(; 19 May 1908 – 3 December 1956) is an Indian Litterateur regarded as one of the major figures of 20th century Bengali literature. During a lifespan of 48 years and 28 years of literary career, battling with epilepsy from the age of around 28 and financial strains all along, he produced some masterpieces of novels and short stories, besides some poems, essays etc. Early life Manik was born on 19 May 1908 in Dumka, a small town of Santhal Parganas district in the state of the then Bihar (now under Jharkhand) in British India in a Bengali Brahmin family. His good-name was Prabodh Kumar Bandyopadhyay and Manik was his nickname. His ancestral home was in Malapadiya village of Bikrampur in Dacca district (present day Bangladesh). Bengali literature ( bn, বাংলা সাহিত্য, Bangla Sahityô) denotes the body of writings in the Bengali language and which covers Old Bengali, Middle- Bengali and Modern Bengali with the changes through the passage of time and dynastic patronization or non-patronization. Bengali has developed over the course of roughly 1,300 years. If the emergence of the Bengali literature supposes to date back to roughly 650 AD, the development of Bengali literature claims to have 1,600 years of old. Dhritiman Chatterjee is an Indian actor. He began his acting career in 1970 as the protagonist of Satyajit Ray's ''Pratidwandi'' (''The Adversary''). Poush ( bn, পৌষ; ne, पौष) is the 9th month of both the Bengali calendar and the Nepali calendar. It overlaps December and January of the Gregorian calendar.
