Putnanja
''Putnanja'' is a 1995 Kannada language film directed by Ravichandran and produced by A. Narsimhan. This film stars Ravichandran, Meena, Umashri, Lokesh in lead roles. Music was composed by Hamsalekha. The film is based on the 1972 Tamil movie ''Pattikada Pattanama''. Plot This film depicts the story of a farmer named "Putnanja", living with his grandmother, Putmalli, near Nanjangud town in Mysore district. Putnanja is a man respected by everyone in the village and was well-known for his kindness towards poor and backward. When Putnanja hears a news regarding arrival of Roja to India (who went to America for studies during childhood and whom Putnanja likes and wants to marry), he rushes towards her place to propose her to marry him. Ravichandran (Kannada Actor)
Veeraswamy Ravichandran (born 30 May 1961), known Mononymous person, mononymously as Ravichandran, is an Indian actor, director, producer, music director, lyricist and editor working predominantly in Kannada cinema. The son of film producer N. Veeraswamy, he continues to produce and distribute films under his father's production house, Sri Eswari Productions. He is popularly referred to as "Crazy Star" by the media and his fans. Jolly Bastian (24 September 1966 – 26 December 2023) was an Indian stunt master predominantly working in the South Indian film industry. Minmini (born P. J. Rosily; 12 August 1970) is a South Indian film playback singer. She is best remembered for the song "Chinna Chinna Aasai" from '' Roja'', the debut work of film composer A. R.
