Purson (band)
Purson were an English psychedelic rock band from London, England, founded by Rosalie Cunningham. Purson formed after Cunningham disbanded her previous project Ipso Facto. They were signed with Spinefarm. Cunningham described their sound as "vaudeville carny psych". Career The band name has its origins in demonology, in which Purson is one of the kings of Hell. Cunningham wanted to name the band after a god. After not finding any god-like names that they liked, they searched in the names of demons or devils. Purson appeared at the 2012 edition of Roadburn Festival. The band performed live in session for Marc Riley on BBC Radio 6 Music in January 2012 and again in March 2013 and December 2013, live from Maida Vale studios. During the show the band discussed plans to record a second album in 2014. Purson supported Kiss on their 2014 edition of the KISS Kruise. Blood Ceremony
Blood Ceremony is a Canadian rock band formed in 2006 in Toronto, Ontario. Blood Ceremony's style has been described as "flute-tinged witch rock" and their lyrics are filled with black magic imagery and references to classic horror films. Their music has been also characterized as hard rock, psychedelic folk, progressive rock, and doom metal. The band is fronted by singer/flutist/organist Alia O'Brien, whose flute solos are reminiscent of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson. ''Torontoist'' has called Blood Ceremony "Toronto's most original band". Temples are an English rock band, formed in Kettering, England in 2012 by singer and guitarist James Bagshaw and bassist Tom Walmsley. The band's lineup was later completed with the addition of keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Adam Smith and drummer Rens Ottink.
