Lenin Rajendran
Lenin Rajendran was an Indian film director and screenwriter who worked in Malayalam cinema. He served as the Chairman of Kerala State Film Development Corporation from 2016 to January 2019. Career Beginning his film-making career as an assistant to director P. A. Backer, Rajendran made his directorial debut with ''Venal'' (1982). From his first film to his latest one, Edavappathy (2016), Rajendran has been consistent with the quality of his films, not surrendering to market forces even while using the form and stars of popular cinema. An active member of the Communist party, Rajendran at times integrated his political orientation into his screen work: his 1985 film ''Meenamasithile Sooryan'' was about the anti-feudal upheaval of the 1940s in Kerala from a Communist viewpoint. Ramachandra Babu
K. Ramachandra Babu (15 December 1947 – 21 December 2019) was an Indian cinematographer of over 125 films, out of which most are Malayalam films. He also worked for films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Arabic and English languages. He served as the cinematographer for several documentaries and advertisement films as well. He was the founder of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC). Early life and career Ramachandra Babu was born on 15 December 1947 in Maduranthakam at Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, as the eldest son of Malayali parents, Kunjan Pillai and Padmini Amma, both from Alappuzha, Kerala. Jagannathan (1938 – 8 December 2012) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam cinema. Biography Jagannathan was born to Sekharan Nair in Changanassery in 1938. He did his primary education from Thuravoor L.P School, Vaikom Government School. He got training from Rashtriya Anushasan Yojan at Rajasthan and won first rank in it. He worked as an instructor at L.D.S Training Institute, Indore, Madhya Pradesh for four years. Abu Salim (born 11 May 1956) is an Indian film actor, bodybuilder, and retired police officer, who works predominantly in the Malayalam cinema. He has also acted in a few Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. He has mostly played villain roles. Early life Abu Salim was born as the second son among six children to Kunhammed and Fathima at Kalpetta in Wayanad district. He had his primary education from S. K. M. J. High School, Kalpetta. Salim developed an interest in bodybuilding after being inspired by the work of actor and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom he considers his role model. Muraleedharan Pillai, popularly known as Murali (25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian film, stage and television actor and author. He mainly appeared in Malayalam films and a few Tamil films. Kavalam Narayana Panikkar (1 May 1928 – 26 June 2016) was an Indian dramatist, theatre director, and poet.
