Punjagutta
Panjagutta is a commercial and residential area in western Hyderabad, India. The area contains IT hubs, shopping malls and jewellery shops. It is a major transit point for traffic between the Hyderabad districts of Ameerpet, Banjara hills, Somajiguda and Khairtabad. Twin flyovers across the road junction ease the previously heavy traffic flow. Etymology The name ''Panjagutta'' means ''hand-mountain'' in Telugu, after a nearby peak. Hyderabad Metro
The Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system, serving the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is the Urban rail transit in India#List of systems, third longest operational metro network in India after Delhi Metro and Namma Metro (Bengaluru), and the lines are arranged in a Transport topology, secant model. It is funded by a public–private partnership (PPP), with the state government holding a minority equity stake. Somajiguda
Somajiguda is a Commercial Centre of Hyderabad located on either sides of Raj Bhavan Road. It started as a residential locality but slowly transformed into a modern business centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a hub of commercial activity with many jewellery, automobile and banking establishments running their businesses from here. Popular landmarks are Raj Bhavan, The Park and Yashoda hospital. Somajiguda has also gained importance because of its proximity to city centres such as Begumpet, Punjagutta and Khairtabad. Ameerpet
Ameerpet is a residential hub located in the north-west part of Hyderabad, Telangana. Ameerpet is also a Mandal in Hyderabad District. The locality borders Sardar Patel Road and National Highway 65. Though consisting of vacant plots till a few years back, the area is now bustling with commercial and residential establishments. Popular areas located close to Ameerpet include Panjagutta, Begumpet, Sanath Nagar and Somajiguda. The Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System, commonly abbreviated as MMTS, is a Urban rail transit in India, suburban rail system in Hyderabad, India. A joint venture of the Government of Telangana (formerly Government of Andhra Pradesh) and the South Central Railway zone, South Central Railway, it is operated by the latter. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (abbreviated as TGSRTC) is a state-owned corporation that runs bus transport services to and from the Indian state of Telangana. It was formed in 2014 by bifurcating the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Khairtabad
Khairatabad is a neigbourhood in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a mandal in the Secunderabad Revenue division of Hyderabad District. This is a Zone in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. There are five circles in this zone namely Mehdipatnam (12), Karwan (13), Goshamahal (14), Khairatabad (17) and Jubilee Hills (18). Banjara Hills
Banjara Hills is an urban commercial centre and one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is an upmarket locality close to Jubilee Hills.
