The Information Technology department was dissolved in 2011, and PITB was attached under the Planning & Development Department Punjab. The Government of the Punjab (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ) is the provincial government of the Pakistani province of the Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab. It is based in Lahore, the provincial capital.
