''Punchi Andare'' (''Little Andare''), ( si, පුංචි අන්දරේ) is a 2018 Sri Lankan Sinhala children's comedy film directed by veteran director Sumith Rohana Thiththawelgala and produced by Rajitha Swaris. The film stars child actor Praveen Katukithule with Mahendra Perera, Sathischandra Edirisinghe in lead roles along with W. Jayasiri and Maurine Charuni. The music is composed by Rohana Weerasinghe. Mahendra Perera
Mahendra Shrikantha Perera (born 17 August 1956: si, මහේන්ද්ර පෙරේරා), is an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. One of the most influential actors in Sinhala cinema, Mahendra performed from drama to comedy in many blockbuster films. Personal life He was born on 17 August 1956 in Mount-Lavinia, Sri Lanka as the youngest of the family. His father Vincent Perera, was a store manager at the Browns, and his mother Soma Weerasekera, was a matron at several government hospitals. He has two older sisters, Priyanthi Damayanthi and shivanthi Kalyani. He first studied at Highland College, Nugegoda. Later he went to Maharagama Vidyakara College and Thurstan College, Colombo. Patikirige Sathischandra Edirisinghe (born 11 February 1941 as Patikirige Sathischandra Edirisinghe, සතිස්චන්ද්ර එදිරිසිංහ) inhalais an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. Considered one of the earliest pillars of Sri Lankan drama history, Edirisinghe is noted as a highly versatile actor with a career spanning more than five decades. Rohana Weerasinghe
DR. Rohana Weerasinghe (born February 18, 1949), is a Sri Lankan musician, composer and singer. Early life Weerasinghe was born on 18 February 1949 in Algiriya, Matara in southern Sri Lanka. He was the youngest child to his parents Henry Weerasinghe and Sepalin Weerasinghe. In 1954, Weerasinghe started schooling from Good Shepard Family Convent in Nuwara Eliya, and later moved to Vidyachakra Buddhist School Ruwan Eliya, Welimada Maha Vidyalaya, Pannipitya Dharmapala Vidyalaya and Gamini Maha Vidyalaya Nuwara Eliya. In 1977, Weerasinghe married to Leela Beatrice De Silva, a dancing teacher in profession. They had two sons, Kalindu Gajaba and Chirath Kanishka.
