Pulpally is a mid-sized town in the Wayanad District of Kerala, India. Pulpally is also known as 'The land of black gold'. It is also renowned for its pure wild Wayanad honey. The famous Seetha Devi temple in Kerala is located in Pulpally. Geographically, it is a small town in Sultan Bathery Taluk and a Grama Panchayat under the Local governance in Kerala, local self-governance system. Sulthan Bathery is a major municipal town in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters of Sultan Bathery taluk and is the most populous and commercially active urban center in the district. Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary
Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Wayanad, Kerala, India with an extent of and four hill ranges namely Sulthan Bathery, Muthanga, Kurichiat and Tholpetty. A variety of large wild animals such as gaur, Indian elephant, deer and Bengal tiger are found there. There are also quite a few unusual birds in the sanctuary. Edakkal Caves
The Edakkal caves are two natural caves at a remote location in sultan bathery in the Wayanad district of Kerala in India. They lie above sea level on Ambukutty Mala, near an ancient trade route connecting the high mountains of Mysore to the ports of the Malabar Coast. Inside the caves are paintings believed to date to at least 6,000 BCE, from the Neolithic man, indicating the presence of a prehistoric settlement in this region. The Stone Age carvings of Edakkal are rare and are the only known examples from South India besides those of Shenthurini, Kollam, also in Kerala. Pambar River (Kerala)
Pambar River originates near Anamudi in Idukki district of Kerala state in South India.
