Puller (band)
Puller was a post-grunge band formed in the mid-1990s. They released three full-length albums and one Split EP for Tooth & Nail Records. Three of Puller's members were also members of For Love Not Lisa, who released two albums for Atlantic Records in the early 1990s. Hard rock or heavy rock is a heavier subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and Distortion (music), distorted electric guitars. Post-grunge
Post-grunge is an offshoot of grunge that has a less abrasive or intense tone than traditional grunge. Tooth & Nail Records is a record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle where it is today. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records. In 2013, Brandon Ebel sold the Tooth & Nail music catalog to Capitol Christian Music Group (formerly EMI Christian Music Group) and bought back the 50% stake in Tooth & Nail formerly owned by EMI, making it an independent record label. For Love Not Lisa
For Love Not Lisa was an American hard rock band formed in the early 1990s in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were signed to East West Records and Tooth & Nail Records. They released two albums in the 1990s before disbanding in 1996. History For Love Not Lisa was formed in 1990 by vocalist and guitarist Mike Lewis and guitarist and vocalist Mike Miles. They recruited Matt Hillbin on bass guitar and Kent Euing on drums to round out the lineup for their early shows. In 1991, Kevin Jeffries replaced Hillbin on bass and Eric Myers replaced Euing on drums. The new lineup released a demo, ''For Love Not Lisa'', in 1992. It contained four live songs and four studio songs. Their first major tour was as an opener for Rage Against the Machine. The band then signed to East West Records. The Chainsaw Kittens
The Chainsaw Kittens were a part of the American alternative rock scene, drawing from pop, glam rock, punk, new wave and British Invasion music. Their lyrics tackled such varied topics as religion, the Stonewall riots, Federico Fellini, Oklahoma, Erik Menendez, and Oscar Wilde. Based in Norman, Oklahoma, its name a reference to the band members' youth and "chainsaw guitar sound", the Chainsaw Kittens were active from 1989 to 2000. Debuting with a sound described 1991 ''SPIN'' review as "The Smiths meet the New York Dolls meet the devil", the group gained attention with "thrift-store transvestism," which it abandoned when the look "started to overshadow the music." Chatterbox (band)
Chatterbox also styled as CHATTERbOX was a project of the Crucified's Jeff Bellew. The project hosted many session musicians, including Stavesacre and the Crucified's Mark Salomon, and Argyle Park and Circle of Dust's Scott Albert. Bellew has also played on Argyle Park's album ''Misguided'', along with Salomon, Dirk Lemmenes (of Focused and Stavesacre), and multiple other musicians. History Chatterbox began following both the Crucified's disbanding and his touring stint with Mortal, in 1994 by Jeff Bellew. Bellew created the band, inspired by Ministry, Mortal, and Circle of Dust.
