Puhuangyu
Puhuangyu Station () is an interchange station, interchange subway station between Line 5, Beijing Subway, Line 5 and Line 14, Beijing Subway, Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. Line 14 station was opened on December 26, 2015. The name Puhuangyu combines the first character from the names of three constituent villages: Puzhuang, Huangtukeng, Yushucun. Station layout Both the line 5 and 14 stations have underground island platforms. Exits There are 7 exits, lettered A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Exits B and F are accessible. Fengtai District
Fengtai District ( zh, s=丰台区, p=Fēngtái Qū) is a district of the city of Beijing. It lies mostly to the southwest of the city center, extending into the city's southwestern suburbs beyond the 6th Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, but also to the south and, to a smaller extent, the southeast, where it has borders with Chaoyang, Beijing, Chaoyang and Dongcheng, Beijing, Dongcheng. History The Western Han dynasty Prince Liu Jian and his wife were buried in Dabaotai village in southwestern Fengtai over 2,000 years ago. The tombs were discovered in 1974 and are now open to visitors at the Dabaotai Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum on Fengbo Road. In Qing Dynasty times, Fengtai was where the Imperial Manchu Army had its camps, trained, and held parades on festive occasions. Dongtiejiangying Subdistrict
Dongtiejiangying Subdistrict () is a subdistrict on the eastern end of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It borders Yongdingmenwai Subdistrict and Fangzhuang Township to the north, Nanyuan and Xiaohongmen Townships to the east, Nanyuan Township and Dahongmen Subdistrict to the south, Xiluoyuan and Yongdingmenwai Subdistricts to the west. It has a census population of 152,873 as of 2020. The name Dongtiejiangying () is derived from its past status as one of the six blacksmith barracks during the Ming and Qing dynasty. Fangzhuang Subdistrict
Fangzhuang Subdistrict () is a subdistrict and residential area in northern Fengtai District. It is bounded to the north and south by the 2nd and 3rd Ring Roads, and to the west and east by Tiantan Dong Lu and Fangzhuang Dong Lu. As of 2020, it has a population of 74,999. The subdistrict got its current name Fangzhuang () due to its historical origin as an estate of Fang family. History In 1951, three villages of this area (Puzhuang, Huangtukeng and Yushu) merged to form the Puhuangyu Township. In 1958, it was incorporated into People's Commune of Nanyuan as Puhuangyu Production Team. Farmers left the region in 1984 as new residential areas were being constructed. Fangzhuang was developed in 1985, and was the first "modernized" residential area of Beijing. In 2021, it lost its status as an area. Line 5, Beijing Subway
Line 5 of the Beijing Subway () is a rapid transit line that runs north to south through central Beijing. Line 5's color is maroon. It entered into operation on October 7, 2007. It runs for in a near straight line through the city center (just approximately east of the Forbidden City at Dongdan) from in Changping District to in Fengtai District. Line 14, Beijing Subway
Line 14 of the Beijing Subway () is a rapid transit rail line in the south and east of Beijing. The line is operated by the Beijing MTR Corporation Limited. Line 14's color is silver pink.
