Puca is an American thoroughbred mare racehorse, who raced from 2014-2017 for Donegal Racing. She is out of Boat's Ghost, by the sire, Big Brown. Puca is the only broodmare in history to produce two full siblings to win classics: 2023 Kentucky Derby winner Mage and 2024 Belmont Stakes winner Dornoch. This led to her being named Kentucky Broodmare of the Year for 2024.> In 2018, she was sold to Grandview Equine for $475,000. In 2019, she foaled Gunning by Gun Runner. Big Brown (foaled April 10, 2005, in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse who won the 2008 Kentucky Derby and 2008 Preakness Stakes and was the 2008 American Champion Three-Year-Old Male Horse, Champion Three-Year-Old.
