Psimon (Simon Jones) is a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an enemy of the Teen Titans. Publication history He first appeared in '' The New Teen Titans'' #3 (January 1981) and was created by George Pérez and Marv Wolfman. Fictional character biography Simon Jones is a physicist who comes into contact with Trigon while conducting interdimensional research. Trigon gives Jones psychic abilities and tasks him with destroying Earth. Jones, now calling himself Psimon, joins Doctor Light's Fearsome Five. During ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', Psimon is killed by Brainiac. He later appears alive before being imprisoned in the Slab. In '' Outsiders'' #6 (January 2004), Psimon engineers a prison breakout and escapes. In ''Salvation Run'', Psimon is killed by the Joker. Fearsome Five
The Fearsome Five is a group of supervillains from DC Comics who serve as enemies of the Teen Titans and Justice League. The group made its debut in 1981. The group's roster has changed multiple times, and characters from the group have appeared in other media, including the 2003–2006 ''Teen Titans'' animated television series. Publication history The Fearsome Five were created by George Pérez and Marv Wolfman and first appeared in ''Teen Titans, The New Teen Titans'' #3 (January 1981), going on to become recurring adversaries for the superhero group. Though deadly, they lack sophistication as criminal planners as well as a cohesive focus or loyalty, and are prone to in-fighting, backstabbing, and disbandment. Salvation Run
''Salvation Run'' is a seven-issue 2007-2008 DC Comics limited series which was designed to tie into the company's major event series ''Final Crisis'' in 2008. Premise The series, which is based on a pitch from George R. R. Martin, follows a world where various supervillains are captured by the Suicide Squad and imprisoned on a distant planet. The story features the villains splitting into alliances and either attempting to escape the planet, known as "Salvation", or choosing to rule over it. Bill Willingham started as writer, but had to hand the project over to Lilah Sturges after only three issues due to illness. The first issue was released in November 2007. Major characters in ''Salvation Run'' include Lex Luthor, the Joker, the Rogues (Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, Abra Kadabra and Mirror Master), and other morally ambiguous heroes such as Scandal Savage and Catwoman. Alan Wray Tudyk ( ; born March 16, 1971) is an American actor. His film work includes roles in '' 28 Days'' (2000), '' A Knight's Tale'' (2001), '' Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story'' (2004), voice and motion capture for Sonny in '' I, Robot'' (2004), and '' 3:10 to Yuma'' (2007).
