The 2014 Sophia Awards (Portuguese language, Portuguese: ''Prémios Sophia 2014'') were the 2014 edition of the Sophia Awards, an award presented by the Portuguese Academy of Cinema to award the best in Cinema of Portugal, Portuguese filmmaking. The nominees were announced on September 9 and the award ceremony took place on October 8, 2014 at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon. Adriano Carvalho Ribeiro (born 16 June 2006) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Académica de Coimbra. Early life Adriano was born in Jacarepaguá, a neighbourhood in the city of Rio de Janeiro, to former Brazilian international footballer, also named Adriano. He was born while his father was competing with Brazil at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, and so his father first saw him in the form of a photograph sent while he was travelling with the squad.
