Poland competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024, celebrating the centenary of the team's debut in the same venue. Polish athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games from 1924 onwards, except for the 1984 Summer Olympics because of the Soviet boycott. The Polish national representation won a total of 10 medals (1 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze) in 9 different sports and was ranked 42nd in the medal table, the lowest place in the country's history of participation in the Summer Olympics. 8 medals were won by female athletes while 2 medals were won by male athletes. The number of both gold was Poland's lowest since 1956, and total medals was lowest since 2004. Bartłomiej Bołądź
Bartłomiej Bołądź (born 28 September 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite spiker for Projekt Warsaw. He competed in the men's tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics as an alternate player, replacing the injured Mateusz Bieniek and making his debut against the USA. Career After graduating from SMS PZPS Spała, he signed a three-year contract with Cerrad Czarni Radom. He spent four seasons playing for Czarni Radom, before moving to VfB Friedrichshafen in July 2017. On 10 August 2024, he won the silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Mateusz Bieniek
Mateusz Bieniek (born 5 April 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and the Poland national team. With Poland, Bieniek won the 2018 World Champion title and took part in 3 Olympic Games – Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, winning a silver medal at the latter. Career National team On 2 April 2015, he was called up to the Polish national team led by Stéphane Antiga. He debuted in the national team on 28 May 2015 in a match of the 2015 World League against Russia (3–0). He achieved 14 points and was named the ''Most Valuable Player'' of the match. Canoeing competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris ran across two main disciplines: canoe slalom, which took place from 27 July to 5 August, and canoe sprint, from 6 to 10 August. Klaudia Zwolińska
Klaudia Zwolińska (born 18 December 1998) is a Polish slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2013. She won the silver medal in the K1 event in Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Career Zwolińska competed at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in the Head-to-Head Sprint and Obstacle Slalom events, where she finished 17th and 7th, respectively. Zwolińska also won the K1 event at the 2015 and 2016 Junior European Championships and the 2016 Junior World Championships. Competition climbing at the 2024 Summer Olympics took place from 5 to 10 August at Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue in Saint-Denis, returning to the program for the second time since the sport's official debut three years earlier in Tokyo 2020. Andrzej Sebastian Duda (born 16 May 1972) is a Polish lawyer and politician who has served as the sixth president of Poland since 2015. Wioletta Frankiewicz (née Janowska) (born 9 June 1977 in Piotrków Trybunalski) is a Polish runner. She competes in the 1500 metres, but she competes also in the 3000 metre steeplechase event, as she did in the 10th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Helsinki, Finland. She weighs 58 kilograms and is 1.77 metres tall. She won National Indoor Championships in 2003 (800 m). She also won the National outdoor championships in 2004 (5000 m) and in 2005 (1500 m).
