Provision Shop () is a Singaporean telemovie commissioned by the Ministry of Communications and Information in collaboration with Tribal Worldwide Singapore. It is directed by Royston Tan and stars Sora Ma, Marcus Chin, Li Yinzhu, Siti Khadijah, Brandon Wong, Cui Yang, Aden Tan and Sarah Daniel. The telemovie debuted on television on 17 July 2016 on Mediacorp Channel 8. Plot The film consists of four stories involving shop owner, his daughter, an ice delivery man and a maid. Royston Tan
Royston Tan (born 5 October 1976) is a Singaporean filmmaker and actor. Tan is a graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, where he studied Visual Communications. He first came into prominence through his short films: ''Sons'' (2000), ''Hock Hiap Leong'' (2001), ''48 on AIDS'' (2002), ''Mother'' (2002) and '' 15'' (2002). He has so far directed six features. In 2021 he was selected as a jury member for the Sonje Award at the 26th Busan International Film Festival. He was appointed creative director of the Singapore National Day Parade in 2020 and 2023. In 2023, Tan was one of the eight assentors appointed for eventual president-elect Tharman Shanmugaratnam in the 2023 Singaporean presidential election. Sora Ma
Sora Ma (born 22 January 1984) is a Singaporean actress. She was a full-time Mediacorp artiste till 2017. Ma is also a qualified pilates instructor and the founder of charity organisation ''Heartworks SG''. Early life Ma's parents are divorced and has an older brother. She was mostly brought up by her grandparents in Sungei Petani, Kedah, Malaysia. Ma studied at Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College and graduated from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, specialising in management and marketing. Prior to joining ''Star Search'', she did some modelling work and was as a financial planner. Marcus Chin On Kang (born 22 September 1953) is a Singaporean host, actor, comedian, singer, radio DJ, and businessman. Career Chin joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation during the 1970s. Brandon Wong (born 16 September 1971) is a Singaporean actor. He was born in Malaysia and speaks Mandarin, English, Malay and Cantonese.
