Provincial Highway 68 () is an expressway, which begins in Hsinchu City at Nanliao on the Provincial Highway No. 15 and ends in Zhudong on Zhongfeng Road (Provincial Road No. 3). Route Description Provincial Highway 68 begins at the Nanliao Harbor in the North District and passes through the northern parts of Hsinchu City while running in a south-easterly direction. It then passes through Qionglin, where a bridge can be used to reach Freeway 3. The route eventually ends at an intersection with Provincial Highway 3 in Zhudong. Length The total length is 22.992 km (14.287 mi). Highway System In Taiwan
Highways in Taiwan are classified into five types: The system does not apply to other parts of Taiwan, namely Kinmen and Lienchiang counties, and islands in the South China Sea. Beipu
Beipu Township (; Hakka: ''Pet-phû-hiông'') is a rural township in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Beipu is well known in Taiwan as a center of Hakka culture, especially for production of ''dongfang meiren'' tea and its special Hakkanese blends of tea and nuts called lei cha. History The town was the scene of the 1907 Hoppo Uprising against Japanese rule of Taiwan when insurgents of both Hakka and indigenous Saisiyat extraction attacked Japanese officials and their families. In retaliation, Japanese military and police killed more than 100 Hakka people, the majority of whom were young men from ''Neidaping'' (內大坪), a small village in the mountainous southern part of the township. Qionglin Township is a rural township in central Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Its population was estimated at 20,224 in March 2023. Hsinchu Science And Industrial Park
The Hsinchu Science Park (HSP; ) is an industrial park complex that originated as one campus straddled Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Chunan and Tongluo, later expanded to cover six campuses across Taiwan. It was established by the government of Taiwan on 15 December 1980. While the whole complex and the first campus share the same name, the name ''Hsinchu Science Park'' usually refers to the campus rather than the whole complex. Provincial Highway 3 (Taiwan)
Provincial Highway 3 () is a 435.608 km long Taiwanese highway that starts in Taipei and ends in Pingtung. Also known as Inner-Mountain Highway (內山公路), the road travels through mountainous towns in Western Taiwan and was the major route for the area until Freeway 3 was built. Route Description The route is also known as Zhongfeng Highway (中豐公路) between Longtan and Fengyuan, Zhongtan Highway (中潭公路) between central Taichung City and Caotun, and Yunmi Armaments Road (澐密戰備道路) between Zhongpu, Chiayi and Nansi in Tainan City. Since the highway runs roughly parallel to Freeway 3 for the majority of its length, it is now primarily a highway providing local access as well as a scenic alternative route to the freeway. Hsinchu (, ), officially Hsinchu City, is a Provincial city (Taiwan), city located in northwestern Taiwan. It is the most populous city in Taiwan that is not a Special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality, with estimated 450,655 inhabitants.
