is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She began her career in 2001 with the release of the single " Itoshigo yo" when she was signed with Toshiba-EMI. She has released twelve albums and eleven singles. RURUTIA is intensely private; most aspects of her life – including her real name, date of birth, and hometown, are kept private, and she has never appeared on a TV program or held a live concert since her debut.
