''Promi Big Brother 2020'', also known as ''Promi Big Brother 8'', was the eighth season of the German reality television series '' Promi Big Brother''. The show began airing on 7 August 2020 on Sat.1 and ended after 24 days on 28 August 2020, making it the longest celebrity season to date. It is the eighth celebrity season and the ninth season of ''Big Brother'' in total to air on Sat.1 to date. Jochen Schropp and Marlene Lufen both returned as hosts of the show. The live late-night show with the name ''Die Late Night Show'' returned on sixx and was aired again every day after the main show on Sat.1. Jochen Bendel and Melissa Khalaj returned as hosts of the late-night show. Special guests joined the presenter duo to analyzing the situation of the show and it also features exclusive live broadcasts from the house. Jochen Schropp
Jochen Alexander Schropp (born 22 November 1978 in Lahn-Giessen, Hesse) is a German actor and television host. Biography Schropp was born in 1978 as the child of a teacher and a medical assistant in the former municipality of Gießen in the city of Lahn. After his high school year in Visalia, California, where Schropp gained his first acting experience, he played at the American theater in Giessen. In addition, he also worked as a small actor, extras and in advertising and began training as a vocalist and speaker at the Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt. After graduating from high school at the Weidigschule in Butzbach, Schropp did his community service in a dialysis center in Giessen. After a musical workshop in Hamburg, he studied at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in the United Kingdom for two and a half years. ''Prince Charming'' is a German reality dating show that premiered on October 30, 2019, streaming on premium sector of RTL+ and began airing on April 20, 2020, on television on VOX. The concept of the show is modeled after '' Der Bachelor'', but with gay men and instead of having a rose ceremony, it features a black tie ceremony. Claudia Kohde-Kilsch (''née'' Kohde; born 11 December 1963) is a former German tennis player and member of the Die Linke. During her tennis career, she won two women's doubles Grand Slam titles. She also won eight singles titles and a total of 25 doubles titles. Personal life Kohde-Kilsch was born Claudia Kohde in Saarbrücken, but added the hyphenated "-Kilsch" to her name which came from her adoptive father Jürgen Kilsch, an attorney. ''Elene'' is a poem in Old English, that is sometimes known as ''Saint Helena Finds the True Cross''. It was translated from a Latin text and is the longest of Cynewulf's four signed poems. It is the last of six poems appearing in the Vercelli manuscript, which also contains ''The Fates of the Apostles'', ''Andreas'', '' Soul and Body I'', the ''Homiletic Fragment I'' and ''Dream of the Rood''.
