Mark Proksch
Mark Proksch ( '; born ) is an American comedian and character actor. He is best known for acting in the television series ''The Office'', ''Better Call Saul'', ''Dream Corp LLC'', ''What We Do in the Shadows'' and as a fictionalized version of himself in the ''On Cinema'' universe. He rose to prominence when he portrayed the character "K-Strass," a parody of a yo-yo master, who appeared on local news shows. Early life Proksch grew up in Onalaska, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of Onalaska High School and the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. K-Strass Proksch had the alias of Kenny "K-Strass" Strasser early in his career, during which he appeared on small-market local newscasts as a hapless "yo-yo master." Alfred Proksch
Alfred Proksch (December 11, 1908 – January 3, 2011) was an Austrian Olympic athlete and graphic designer. The son of one of the co-founders of the Wiener Sport-Club, Proksch took an active interest in both athletics and graphic design from an early age. By the age of 19 he had started his own design company and would later become a founder, then president, of the Confederation of Austrian Graphic Designers. He was also a key figure in the founding of Icograda. By the age of 17, Proksch was a champion pole vaulter and competed internationally, most notably placing 6th in the event at the 1936 Summer Olympics. He broke the Austrian record for the event on eight separate occasions. Even after turning 100, he continued to compete at the World's Masters Championships, often unopposed in his age bracket. Udo Proksch (29 May 1934 in Rostock, Germany – 27 June 2001 in Graz, Austria) was an Austrian businessman and industrialist. In 1991, he was convicted of the murder of six people as part of a major insurance fraud. Proksch died in prison. Alfred Proksch (8 March 1891 in Larischau – 3 January 1981 in Vienna) was an Austrian Nazi Party official, who briefly served as the leader of the Nazi Party in Austria. Life Proksch enrolled in the Kaiser Infantry Regiment No. 1 of the Austro-Hungarian Army in 1910 and then the Railway Academy in Linz in 1912 before taking a job with the government railways. He returned to the army in 1914 with the Infantry Regiment No. 91 and saw action during the World War I in Poland and Russia. Peter Proksch (4 February 1935 – 9 December 2012) was an Austrian artist. Born in Vienna, he was the eldest of four children. The father Alfred Proksch was a commercial artist, the mother was a model. The profession of the father, obviously stimulated his talent and the interest in drawing very early, even if this, in the years of war, seldom, if ever, could be with his family. Josef Proksch or Joseph Proksch (4 August 1794, Reichenberg (now Liberec) – 20 December 1864, Prague) was a Bohemian-German pianist and composer. His daughter, Marie Proksch, was also a well-known pianist and composer. Biography Proksch, who became blind at the age of 13, was a pupil of Jan Antonín Koželuh. In 1830, Proksch opened the ''Musikbildungsanstalt'' (Music Academy) in Prague.
