Project 1
Project 1 Motorsport, formerly known as tolimit Motorsport, was a German auto racing team founded by Hans-Bernd Kamps and Jörg Michaels in 1993 to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and later the Porsche Supercup. Based in Lohne, Germany, Lohne, the team has won eighteen championships in the two Porsche series, and has expanded in 2018 to the FIA World Endurance Championship. The team changed their name from tolimit Motorsport to Project 1 in 2013. Deutsche Post has sponsored the team since 1998. Former Carrera Cup Germany champions for the team include Christian Menzel, René Rast, and Philipp Eng, while Eng also won Project 1's sole Supercup title in 2015 Porsche Supercup, 2015. Lohne (Oldenburg) (; Northern Low Saxon: ''Lohn'') is a town in the Vechta (district), district of Vechta, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is located approximately 8 km south-west of Vechta. The town lies on the Bundesautobahn 1, A1 freeway between Bremen (city), Bremen and Osnabrück. Geography Geographical position Lohne lies in the Oldenburg Münsterland between Oldenburg (city), Oldenburg to the north and Osnabrück to the south. Through the city goes the Weser-Ems, Weser-Ems-watershed from north to south. In the east is the catchment area of the Hunte and in the west the catchment area of the Hase, which lies on a Geest, part of the Dammer Berge. To the east of Lohne lies the Großes Moor (Vechta-Diepholz), Großes Moor, a raised bog. To the west lies the "Dinklager Becken", a great lowland. 2018–19 FIA World Endurance Championship
The 2018–19 FIA World Endurance Championship was the seventh season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, an auto racing series co-organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes and grand tourer-style racing cars divided into four categories. The season marked the first move to a winter schedule for the championship, with the season starting at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in May 2018 and concluding at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2019. World championship titles were awarded for LMP drivers, GTE drivers, LMP1 teams and GTE manufacturers. The Porsche Supercup (officially known as Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, known as Porsche Michelin Supercup prior to 2007 and often abbreviated as PSC) is an international One-design racing, one-make production stock car racing series supporting the FIA Formula One, Formula One World Championship organized by Porsche in motorsport, Porsche Motorsport GmbH.
