The Progressive Club ( / ) is a non-governmental organization in Serbia. It was founded in 2007 by Dr. Čedomir Antić. According to its Statute the organization promotes the modernization and reformation of the Serbian state, his politics, economy and the culture. Non-governmental Organization

Čedomir Antić
Čedomir Antić ( sr-Cyrl, Чедомир Антић, ; born 9 October 1974) is a Serbian historian, professor at The University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and a political activist. Student activism During the 1996–1997 protests in Serbia, Antić was the long-standing chairman of the protest's Main Council (Parliament). Previously, Antić was one of the protest leaders at the Faculty of Philosophy. After the student protest had reached its triumphant end, Antić had, together with several colleagues (Čedomir Jovanović, Vladimir Dobrosavljević, Igor Žeželj, Saša Ćirić, and others) organized the Student Political Club (SPK). SPK was the first student party in history of Serbia. It led a boycott campaign of the 1997 elections. SPK called for political reforms and opted for new national, economic and regional policy. The Serbian Progressive Party (; abbr. СНС or SNS) was a conservative liberal political party in the Kingdom of Serbia that existed from 1881 to 1919. History Origins The origin of the Progressive Party can be traced back to 1871. Their leadership mainly consisted of young Western-trained intellectuals who later took part in the Editorial Board of Serbian journal ''Videlo''.
