The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboardist, and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured Rapping, MC and vocalist Maxim (musician), Maxim, dancer and occasionally live keyboardist Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky, and dancer and vocalist Keith Flint. They describe their style as Electropunk, electronic punk. The band emerged during the underground rave scene and achieved early success in 1991 with their debut singles "Charly (song), Charly" and "Everybody in the Place", which reached the UK top five. Prodigy (rapper)
Albert Johnson (November 2, 1974 – June 20, 2017), known professionally as Prodigy, was an American rapper and record producer. He was best known for being in the rap duo Mobb Deep along with Havoc, yet Johnson still had a solo career, regularly collaborating with producer The Alchemist. Johnson released eight albums during his career in Mobb Deep as well as five solo studio albums. Early life Albert Johnson was born on November 2, 1974, in Hempstead, New York, on Long Island. At age 10 in 1985, Johnson and his mother moved to LeFrak City, Queens. He had one brother, Greg Johnson. He came from a musical family. Prodigy (online Service)
Prodigy Communications Corporation was an online service from 1984 to 2001 that offered its subscribers access to a broad range of networked services. It was one of the major internet service providers of the 1990s. The company claimed it was the first consumer online service, citing its graphical user interface and basic architecture as differentiation from CompuServe, which started in 1979 and used a command-line interface. Prodigy was described by the ''New York Times'' as "family-oriented" and one of "the Big Three information services" in 1994. By 1990, it was the second-largest online service provider with 465,000 subscribers, trailing only CompuServe's 600,000. In 1993 it was the largest. Mobb Deep was an American Hip-hop, hip hop duo formed in Queens, New York (state), New York in 1990. Prodigy (David Alleyne) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir, and Keron Grant, the character first appeared in ''New Mutants'' (vol. 2) #4 (October 2003). Prodigy was a student at the Xavier Institute. The character, created by Len Kaminski, first appeared in ''Morbius the Living Vampire'' #4 (December 1994). He is a sadist who was unable to feel pain and has prosthesic hands equipped with surgical tools. Doctor Paine is a silent partner of Dr. David Langford which got threatened, resulting in the deaths of Martine Bancroft and his business partner.
