Proposed Deletion
Volunteer editors of Wikipedia delete articles from the online encyclopedia regularly, following processes that have been formulated by the site's community over time. The most common route is the outright deletion of articles that clearly violate the rules of the website (speedy deletion). Other mechanisms include an intermediate collaborative process that bypasses a complete discussion (proposed deletion or PROD), and a whole debate at the dedicated forum called Articles for deletion (AfD). As a technical action, deletion can only be done by a subset of editors assigned particular specialized privileges by the community, called administrators. An omission that has been carried out can be contested by appeal to the deleting administrator or on another discussion board called Deletion review (DRV). Occasionally, deletion instances attract public attention, causing controversy or criticism of Wikipedia or other entities. Conventions and practices of deletion have caused a long-la ...

Cattle Prod
A cattle prod, also called a stock prod or a hot stick, is a handheld device commonly used to make cattle or other livestock move by striking or poking them. An electric cattle prod is a stick with electrodes on the end which is used to make cattle move via a relatively high-voltage, low-current electric shock. The electric cattle prod is said to have been invented by Texas cattle baron Robert J. Kleberg (King Ranch), Robert J. Kleberg, Jr. of the King Ranch around 1930, although versions were sold as early as 1917. Electric prods An electric cattle prod is typically cylindrical, and can carry an open electric current at the "shock end" when activated. The electric current at the shock end runs through two metal electrodes. Anything that touches the electrodes receives a high-voltage low-ampere, current shock, not strong enough to kill a human or a large animal such as a cow or sheep from short-term exposure, but strong enough to cause significant pain. The electric cattle p ...

Local Government, Planning And Land Act 1980
The Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (c. 65) imposed tendering requirements on local authorities in relation to works contracts and was responsible for the establishment of development corporations, including the London Docklands Development Corporation. It also created the Public Request to Order Disposal, which can be used by the government to force a local authority to sell derelict land and empty property owned by certain public landlords. The power was renamed the Community Right to Reclaim Land in 2011. Hoghilag
Hoghilag (; ) is a commune located in Sibiu County, Transylvania, central Romania. It is composed of three villages, namely: Hoghilag, Prod (; ), and Valchid (; ). The fortified church of Prod was demolished in 1902, while the fortified church of Valchid is still in a relatively good shape. The commune is located in the northern part of the county, on the border with Mureș County. It is situated on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the right bank of the Târnava Mare River. The nearest town is Dumbrăveni, to the west on county road DJ142E. The city of Mediaș is to the west, while the capital of the county, Sibiu, is to the southwest; both can be reached via national road . About 200,000 tuberoses are grown on in the commune, in gardens and protected areas; there are some 40 tuberose growers, half cultivating the plant for commercial purposes, and the others as a hobby and for decorative purposes. Thousands of tourists attend the annual two-day Tuberoses Festival in Hoghilag ...

Product Integral
A product integral is any product-based counterpart of the usual sum-based integral of calculus. The product integral was developed by the mathematician Vito Volterra in 1887 to solve systems of linear differential equations. A. Slavík''Product integration, its history and applications'' , Matfyzpress, Prague, 2007. Informal sketch The classical Riemann integral of a function f: ,bto\mathbb can be defined by the relation :\int_a^b f(x)\,dx = \lim_\sum f(x_i)\,\Delta x, where the limit is taken over all partitions of the interval ,b/math> whose norms approach zero. Product integrals are similar, but take the limit of a product instead of the limit of a sum. They can be thought of as "continuous" versions of "discrete" products. They are defined as :\prod_a^b \big(1 + f(x)\,dx\big) = \lim_ \prod \big(1 + f(x_i)\,\Delta x\big). For the case of f: ,bto\R, the product integral reduces exactly to the case of Lebesgue integration, that is, to classical calculus. Thus, the ...

Crossbow
A crossbow is a ranged weapon using an Elasticity (physics), elastic launching device consisting of a Bow and arrow, bow-like assembly called a ''prod'', mounted horizontally on a main frame called a ''tiller'', which is hand-held in a similar fashion to the stock (firearms), stock of a long gun. Crossbows shoot arrow-like projectiles called ''crossbow bolt, bolts'' or ''quarrels''. A person who shoots crossbow is called a ''crossbowman'', an ''arbalister'' or an ''arbalist (crossbowman), arbalist'' (after the arbalest, a European crossbow variant used during the 12th century). Crossbows and bows use the same elastic launch principles, but differ in that an archer using a Bow and arrow, bow must draw-and-shoot in a quick and smooth motion with limited or no time for aiming, while a crossbow's design allows it to be spanned and cocked ready for use at a later time and thus affording them unlimited time to aim. When shooting bows, the archer must fully perform the bow draw, draw, h ...
