Crumbsuckers
Crumbsuckers were an American crossover thrash band formed by bass player Gary Meskil in 1982 in Baldwin, Nassau County, New York. Crumbsuckers combined Thrash metal, thrash and hardcore punk sounds and themes, making an impact on the scene with their 1986 debut album, ''Life of Dreams''. Though the band was supported by its fanbase and fellow artists, Crumbsuckers' second album, ''Beast on My Back'', failed to deliver on expectations. The departure of lead vocalist Chris Notaro in 1988 started the band's gradual decline, despite the Crumbsuckers' attempts to create a new identity. Even so, the band had already cemented themselves as pioneers of the crossover thrash movement. Crumbsuckers played its latest reunion show (with Chris Notaro on vocals) at the 2015 Black N' Blue Bowl Festival at Webster Hall (formerly The Ritz (rock club), the Ritz) in New York City on May 17, 2015. History In June 1983, the band recorded a five-song demo unofficially called ''The Crumbsucker C ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Indorphine
Indorphine is an American alternative metal band from Orlando, Florida. History Like many influential grassroots bands before them, Indorphine began in the garage of lead singer Jimmy Grant as he, and high school friend and drummer Everett Sailor, annoyed their Kissimmee neighbors with their loud and abstract music. One day however a neighbor from across the street, interested instead of disgusted in the odd noises resonating daily, introduced himself as Buddy Fischel to the already named duo Indorphine with an interest in joining forces. An experienced guitar player from Syracuse, NY, Fischel was welcomed into the band and their lineup was nearly complete. Local bassist and songwriter Dan Stewart entered the picture, and the band was then ready to begin forging ahead. Dan contributed several songs to the band which provided them with enough material to begin playing live. The first Indorphine concert occurred on May 5, 2001, at Midtown Tavern in Orlando, FL. Regain Records
Regain Records is a Swedish-based independent record label. The label predominantly released death metal and black metal albums. Regain Records was founded from what remained of the former label, Wrong Again Records, by Per Gyllenbäck in 1997. Wrong Again Records had such bands as In Flames, Cryptopsy, Arch Enemy, and Naglfar among its ranks. Regain Records' first two releases were Deranged's '' High on Blood'' and Embraced's ''Amorous Anathema'', in late 1997. In the first two years of operation, business for the label was slow, due to lack of proper distribution. It was not until Regain Records re-released the first two in Flames albums, ''Lunar Strain'' and ''Subterranean'', which were previously released under the name Wrong Again Records, that the label began to prosper. In 2008, the label was involved in a legal dispute with the band Gorgoroth over their 2008 live album.
