Pringle Creek is a small tributary of the Willamette River that drains a area of Marion County in the U.S. state of Oregon. The entire watershed lies within the urban growth boundary of the City of Salem. Pringle Creek's tributaries include Clark Creek, West Fork Pringle Creek, West Middle Fork and East Fork.Hemesath, Chapter 2, pp. 2–6 Course Pringle Creek consists of a network of small streams with courses greatly altered since the 19th century by urban development. Salem Hospital is part of Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics, a not-for-profit institution, located in Salem, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1896, the non-profit hospital has over 640 beds. The community hospital is the largest private employer in Salem and the only hospital in the city. History In 1896, Salem General Hospital was incorporated at the Glen Oak Orphanage.Early Hospitals. 1840-1990 Keepsake Edition, p. 31. ''Statesman Journal'', October 26, 1990. Situated on of land donated to the orphanage by the Oregon Children's Aid Society, the hospital opened a school of nursing with the first class graduating in 1899.
