Princess Daisy (other)
is a character in the ''Mario'' series of video games. She debuted in the 1989 Game Boy launch game ''Super Mario Land'' as the ruler of Sarasaland where she was given the role of damsel in distress for Mario to rescue. The game was produced by Shigeru Miyamoto's mentor Gunpei Yokoi, who wanted to recreate the gameplay of the 1985 video game ''Super Mario Bros.'' for the Game Boy, only set in a separate world from the Mushroom Kingdom. Daisy has been presented as Luigi's love interest, similarly to Princess Peach being the love interest of Mario. Their relationship featured in the plot of the 1993 live-action film ''Super Mario Bros.'', in which Luigi saves Daisy from King Koopa. She appears in ''Mario Tennis'' and has been a staple playable character in ''Mario'' spin-off games, including ''Mario Party'' and ''Mario Kart''. is a media franchise, produced and published by video game company Nintendo, created by Japanese game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and starring the fictional Italian plumber Mario. , or King Koopa, is a fictional character, the primary antagonist in Nintendo's ''Mario'' franchise, and the arch-nemesis of Mario. In Japan, the character bears the title of . Bowser is the leader of the turtle-like Koopa race. Despite the fact that Bowser has teamed up with Mario in a few games, his ultimate goals are to kidnap Princess Peach and to defeat Mario and Luigi to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom. In golf, a caddie (or caddy) is the person who carries a player's bag and clubs, and gives the player advice and moral support. Description A good caddie is aware of the challenges and obstacles of the golf course being played, along with the best strategy in playing it. This includes knowing overall yardage, pin placements and club selection. A caddie is not usually an employee of a private club or resort. They are classified as an "independent contractor", meaning that they are basically self-employed and do not receive any benefits or perks from their association with the club. The (N64) is a home video game console developed by Nintendo. The successor to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, it was released on June 23, 1996, in Japan, on September 29, 1996, in North America, and on March 1, 1997, in Europe and Australia. Satoru Okada (岡田 智 ''Okada Satoru'', born January 10, 1947) is the former general manager of Nintendo Research & Engineering, the division designing and developing Nintendo handheld game consoles. He is best known for creating the original Game Boy and its successors. He was also assistant producer and director of and contributor to several Nintendo games, notably '' Metroid'', released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986.
