Prince Polo
Prince Polo is a Polish wafer chocolate bar and one of Poland's top-selling confectionary brands. It is also sold in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, and Ukraine under the name Siesta, and in Iceland where it is often called Prins Póló. According to measurements shown by Nielsen, the bar has been the most sold chocolate bar for decades in Iceland and was for many years one of the few chocolate bars available in the country. Prince Polo was introduced in 1955, during the early years of the Polish People's Republic, by Olza S.A. in Cieszyn. It is a chocolate-covered wafer, with four layers of wafer joined by three layers of chocolate-flavored filling; it was easily identifiable by its metallic gold-colored wrapper. The Polish People's Republic (1952–1989), formerly the Republic of Poland (1947–1952), and also often simply known as Poland, was a country in Central Europe that existed as the predecessor of the modern-day democratic Republic of Poland. Krówki (, plural; ''krówka'' Grammatical number, singular), literally a dimunitive form of the Polish word for "cow," are Poland, Polish fudge, semi-soft milk toffee candy, candies. When hand-made, they are hard and crispy on the outside, but the inside is more fluid than solid. It is one of the most common Polish confections, sold worldwide, and might be considered "''dulce de leche'' candy". Magnús Ólafsson (actor)
Magnús Ólafsson (born 17 February 1946) is an Icelandic actor, comedian, singer and former handball player. A veteran stage and film actor of several decades, he is best known for his performance of the character ''Bjössi Bolla'' which was created when he was a member of the comedy band Sumargleðin in the early 1980's along with Ragnar Bjarnason, Ómar Ragnarsson, Bessi Bjarnason and Þorgeir Ástvaldsson. With Sumargleðin, he sang the hit song '' Prins Póló'' in 1981. Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson (26 April 1977 – 29 September 2022), better known by his stage name Prins Póló, was an Icelandic singer-songwriter and experimental artist. He was also part of the Icelandic band Skakkamanage. Skakkamanage Svavar Pétur Eysteinsson started his career in the mid-2000s when he developed the alternative rock band Skakkamanage that released three albums: ''Lab of Love'' in 2006, followed by ''All Over The Face'' in 2008. The latter album was nominated for "Best Album" in Iceland Kraumur Awards. Cieszyn ( , ; ; ) is a border town in southern Poland on the east bank of the Olza River, and the administrative seat of Cieszyn County, Silesian Voivodeship.
