Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium known as Al-Faisal Stadium () is a football stadium in the port city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. History The stadium is located in the south east of Jeddah, between King Abdulaziz University and the industrial city (Al Waziriah District). It is bound in the east by the Jeddah-Makkah expressway and in the south, Stadium street. The stadium was constructed in 1970, and has a capacity of around 27,000 spectators, and is part of a municipal sports complex that includes an indoor arena and an aquatics center. The stadium consists of two main stands. The covered west stand, is fully seated and has an enclosed VIP box and media suites in a central tribune. The arch shaped east stand is terraced, and curves along the running track. A single large scoreboard is located on the northern edge of the east stand. 2023 FIFA Club World Cup
The 2023 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 presented by Visit Saudi for sponsorship reasons) was the 20th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions. The tournament was played in Saudi Arabia from 12 to 22 December 2023. It was the last seven-team Club World Cup before the tournament was expanded to 32 teams in 2025. Real Madrid were the defending champions, but were not able to defend their title after being eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League by eventual winners Manchester City. King Abdulaziz University
King Abdulaziz University (KAU) () is a public research university in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1967 as a private university by a group of businessmen led by Muhammad Bakhashab and including author Hamza Bogary, it was named after the country's first monarch, King Abdulalziz ibn Saud. It was converted into a public university by King Faisal in 1974. With over 117,096 students in 2022, it is the largest university in the country. The 2024–25 AFC Champions League Elite knockout stage began on 3 March with the round of 16 and ended on 3 May 2025, with the final to decide the champions of the 2024–25 AFC Champions League Elite, Al Ahli. Jeddah Sports Club () is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Jeddah. Founded in 1968, the club competes in the Saudi First Division League, the second tier in the Saudi Arabian football league system. It has a women's section.
