Primordial Radio
Primordial Radio is a British premium online radio platform specialising in rock and metal music. The station was founded in January 2017 by Hugh Evans (Moose), Russ Collington (Dewsbury), Peter 'Pete' Bailey and Benjamin 'Mark' Woodhouse, all formerly of Team Rock. Through the loyalty of their fan base, the company hit its first major milestone in July 2017, successfully crowd equity funding £153,282 from 853 individual investors. Test streams of the radio station began in May 2017 and the station officially launched on Saturday 30 September 2017 at 7pm. Foundational Years A predecessor in the same market was Team Rock, a company based in London and High Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, which published music magazines and operated an online radio station. Dinosaur Pile-Up are an English alternative rock band formed in late 2007. Hailing from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Current members are lead singer and guitarist Matt Bigland, drummer Mike Sheils and bassist Jim Cratchley. Their past members include Steve Wilson (2008-2010), Tom Dornford-May (2008-2010), Tommy Davidson (2008), Harry Johns (2010-2011), and James Sacha (2013). History Formation and name Dinosaur Pile-Up formed after guitarist Bigland's band Mother Vulpine dissolved in 2007. Bigland had been creating songs used for Dinosaur Pile-Up whilst he was in Mother Vulpine. Those Damn Crows are a Welsh rock band formed in 2014 in Bridgend, Wales. The band quickly started building a loyal following and gaining traction through appearances at the likes of Steelhouse Festival, and receiving airplay on BBC Radio Wales as well as being declared "Ones to Watch" by the UK's Planet Rock radio station in November 2017 and "New Band of the Week" in ''Metal Hammer'' magazine in 2018. The band signed a worldwide, multi-album deal with Nottingham-based independent record label Earache Records on 14 May 2018 and released their debut album ''Murder and the Motive'' on 5 October 2018. Tartan
Tartan ( gd, breacan ) is a patterned cloth consisting of criss-crossed, horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours. Tartans originated in woven wool, but now they are made in other materials. Tartan is particularly associated with Scotland, as Scottish kilts almost always have tartan patterns. Tartan is made with alternating bands of coloured (pre-dyed) threads woven as both warp (weaving), warp and Warp and woof, weft at right angles to each other. The weft is woven in a simple twill, two over—two under the warp, advancing one thread at each pass. Skarlett Riot is a British hard rock band, formed in Scunthorpe, England, in 2010. History The band members met for the first time in school, where they were known under the name 'Fuzion'. A short time later, they renamed themselves Skarlett Riot and produced their first EP, which was released on 4 November 2010. Two years later, the second EP called "Villain" was released, with which they gained their first wave of fame. In 2013, they released their first single, "Faded Memory", which can be found on their debut album ''Tear Me Down'', which was released in the same year.
