Primera FEB
The Primera FEB, formerly known as LEB or LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the Spanish Basketball Federation, FEB. The FEB leagues are divided into three categories (the other two are the Segunda FEB and the Tercera FEB). The league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the Primera FEB are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The teams that finish the season in 2nd to 9th place enter a playoff tournament, with the winner also gaining promotion to the Liga ACB. The three lowest-finishing teams in the Primera FEB are relegated to Segunda FEB. The 1997–1998 LEB season was the second season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, second tier of the Spanish basketball. Sergio Valdeolmillos
Sergio Valdeolmillos Moreno (born 4 April 1967) is a Spanish basketball coach who is the current coach of Petro de Luanda of the Angolan Basketball League and the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Valdeolmillos won the BAL championship with Petro de Luanda in 2024, and led the team to a national treble in 2025. National team career Valdeolmillos coached the Mexico national team at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Valdeolmillos also led Mexico to the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship and the 2014 Centrobasket Championship. Bob Harstad
Robert Joseph Harstad (born February 7, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player. In a career spanning between 1991 and 2001, Harstad played for six different teams at the highest leagues in Spain and Portugal. In his post-basketball career he has been working for Ackerman McQueen, an ad agency, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. College Born in Loveland, Colorado, Harstad led Thompson Valley High School to a conference championship during his junior year and state champion runner-up his senior year. In a decidedly Big 12 Conference region of the country, Harstad instead signed to play for Tony Barone at Creighton University, a Missouri Valley Conference school in Nebraska. Cantabria Baloncesto
Cantabria Baloncesto was a professional basketball team who played during five seasons in Liga ACB. The team was also known as Cantabria Lobos. From 1975 to 2004 the team was based and played in Torrelavega, but after the 2003-04 season the Cantabria Lobos moved to Santander, Cantabria. In 2008, the team renounced their spot in the LEB Oro and played in LEB Bronce. After that season, Cantabria Baloncesto ceased in activity but was not dissolved. Club Baloncesto Ciudad de Huelva was a professional basketball team based in Huelva, Andalucia. The last season, (2007–08) the team played in LEB Oro. History CB Ciudad de Huelva was founded in 1996. In their first season, they win the LEB League and they are promoted to the 1996-97 ACB League. They only play one year and they are relegated in they play-out. The 2007–08 LEB season is the 12th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto. The 612-game regular season (34 games for each of the 18 teams) began on Friday, September 21, 2007, and will end on Friday, May 16, 2008. The champion of the regular season will be promoted to ACB. The teams between 2nd and 9th position will play a best of 3 games play off between May 20 and May 27 to see who plays the Final Four in Cáceres, between May 31 and June 1. Club Melilla Baloncesto
Club Melilla Baloncesto is a professional basketball team based in Melilla that plays in the LEB league. This is the only team in Spain that played all LEB seasons. The team's home arena is the Pabellón Javier Imbroda Ortiz (formerly known as Ciudad de Melilla), with a capacity of up to 3,800 spectators.
