Preston is an unincorporated community in Sonoma County, California, United States. The community is on U.S. Route 101 north of Cloverdale. Cloverdale, California
Cloverdale is a city in Sonoma County, California, United States; it is both the westernmost and the northernmost city in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco and North Pacific Railroad reached the area in 1872. The Cloverdale Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California is headquartered there. The population was 8,996 at the 2020 census. The David Rumsey Historical Map Collection is a large private map collection with over 150,000 maps and cartographic items.
