The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' in 2005, by order of first appearance. Louise Summers Rob Owen Robert "Rob" Owen, played by David Prosho, made his first appearance on 16 March 2005. He is Carrie Owen's estranged husband. He recently returned after finding out about his son Russ Owen's cancer. Justin Burton
Justin Burton is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Chris Fountain. Justin arrived in 2003 and departed on 3 June 2009. Justin arrived in a family of six, however by September 2006, the Burton family had left the show. Steph Roach (also Dean and Cunningham) is a fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Carley Stenson. She debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 29 March 2000. Steph was introduced into the serial by executive producer Jo Hallows. Craig Dean is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Guy Burnet. The character was introduced as a youngest brother of established character Steph Dean ( Carley Stenson). He made his first appearance on 24 October 2002. Frankie Osborne
Francine "Frankie" Osborne (also Dean) is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Helen Pearson, making her first on-screen appearance on 20 August 2002. Frankie was once the longest-serving female character in the show. Jake Dean is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Kevin Sacre.
