Premios TVyNovelas (Colombia)
The Premios TVyNovelas are presented annually by Televisa and the magazine TVyNovelas to honor the best Mexican television productions, including telenovelas. Instituted in 1983, the award ceremony rotates between Mexico City and Acapulco. The ceremony is broadcast through Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico and Latin America, and Univision in the United States. For the first time in its 30-year history, Canal de las Estrellas and Univision had broadcast Premios TVyNovelas simultaneously on April 28, 2013. The awards show has been on an indefinite hiatus since the 2020 edition. ''TVyNovelas'' is a Mexican magazine published by Editorial Televisa on a monthly basis. Like soap opera publications in the United States such as ''Soap Opera Digest'' and '' Soaps In Depth'', it mainly carries coverage of Mexican and international telenovelas, mainly those airing on the networks of Televisa. History and profile ''TVyNovelas'' was established in 1982. Four international editions are also published: United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. It is considered the leader among showbusiness publications in Mexico, especially on the subject of telenovelas. Edith González Fuentes (; 10 December 1964 – 13 June 2019) was a Mexican actress, regarded as a blonde bombshell and one of the most beautiful actresses in Mexican cinema.
